Join myCHOICE & UChicagoGRAD to learn more about the vast programming and resources we offer graduate students, postdocs, and all trainees at UChicago. We offer services to complement your academic and research pursuits, from career exploration & preparation, internships, networking, writing support, and so much more. Do you have ideas or suggestions for new programming? We would love to hear them.

This event will kick off the myCHOICE “What Can I Do With my PhD?” seminar series. Join us every other Monday evening (5:30 – 6:30 PM) to learn about different career paths, including academia, industry, business & consulting, government, and more.

Amy Hark, PhD

Director, STEM Graduate Career Development and Postdoctoral Affairs, UChicagoGRAD

Dr. Hark is a dedicated career advisor for STEM PhD students and postdocs. She received her Ph.D. from Northwestern University in Neuroscience where she studied sex differences in learning and memory. Prior to joining the UChicagoGRAD team, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher investigating decision-making.

Elahe Ganji, PhD

Associate Director, myCHOICE at UChicagoGRAD


Dr. Ganji received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware. Before joining myCHOICE she was a postdoctoral fellow of the Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at the intersection of engineering and biomedical imaging. Her background support and supplement current efforts at myCHOICE to expand programming and outreach to topics relevant to the physical sciences and engineering.
